Great Kaiju Duel in the Sea

The 2nd time I tried to for a G-Fan wrap around cover, I submitted this piece. Since G-fan is primarily a Godzilla/toho monster fan rag, I felt it appropriate to give some of the lesser-known kaiju a spotlight. I imagined a "Destoy All Monsters of the Sea" and threw as many water monsters as I could in this. The serpent-god Manda does battle with Ebirah the mutant lobster. Varan the Unbelievable fights Gezora, the giant cuttlefish from "Yog Monster from Space". His other co-stars Kameba (the turtle that's catching an atomic facial from Godzilla), and Ganime (seen squaring off with Titanosarus on the far right) also make an appearance. And finally the giant sea serpent from "King Kong Escapes" is in the hairy grasp of Gaila, the green Gargantua.
Ultimately, this was chosen to be a subscribers' exclusive centerfold (which is still great!) rather than a cover. I recently looked at it and decided to add some touch-ups to improve it.
